ETC has answered questions about the basis of the SAM, and the quantity of movements that are involved in an operation.  The goal is the implementation all our methods with the help of ETC.

With ETC, I learned to calculate the SAM of one style, costing the styles before beginning the production.  I consider ETC an important system for sewn product companies because we can improve our methods and make them real during the production process.

In the sewn products industry, the method of the operation is 20% sewing and 80% manual. We never realized this until we discovered ETC.  Before ETC, we only concentrated in the sewing movements on the plant floor. ETC shows us how the handling affects the efficiency of the workers.  This system helps us to analyze and improve the methods we use in our operations.
